Top 5 Educational Television Shows
I thought since you're going to be watching so much television, that you're going to need to know about the educational shows on TV. I know there are a lot of people out there that say that this will rot your mind, but there are plenty of shows that will actually make you smarter and help you think. So lets begin, and let you get your education. 1. Mythbusters Basically this is a show on the Discovery Channel where they basically test out myths and see if they are real. There is a lot of different things that they have done, so I obviously can list them all. For example, they recently had an episode on the Moon landing and basically tested the conspiracy that the moon landing was staged. Well they proved that all the conspiracies were wrong and completely unfounded. They talk about a lot of different things, so you'll definitely find something you like or find interesting. 2. Ice Road Truckers I'd like to tell you to watch every show on the History Channel, but I really can't. Ice Road Truckers follow a group of truckers that transport heavy equipment on an ice road. It is a pretty interesting show that has a lot of dangers with this type of work. You'll learn about the things people will do to make a living on this show. 3. Deadliest Catch This is a show that follows fisherman that are hunting for crab off the coast of Alaska. It shows a lot of great footage of what life is like on a fishing boat. It also showcases the dangers that are faced with the job too. 4. Survivorman Survivorman is a show that Les Stroud does. Basically he goes out in these remote locations all by himself. Sets up the cameras himself and tries to survive for 7 days. It is really interesting and you will learn about surviving if you were to ever get lost. 5. NASA TV This is something that you can watch on your computer and if you have the channel you can watch it on your television too. Basically it shows actual live footage from NASA that is absolutely breath taking. |
