White TV StandI put this site together to help you decide on the best white TV stand that you can get for your home. This can be a difficult decision because it's a stand. We don't really put that much thought into it, but it really makes or breaks your television experience. I don't think people really understand the gravity of this decision. There are many different sizes, shapes and designs that you can get and you should be trying to get something that meets your needs completely and enhances your experience with watching television. In my time, I've seen many different stands. You can get a small white TV stand for a room or you can go with an antique look. There are some designed to look modern, while others would best for a kids room. I want to help you out with this. You may need a HD TV Stand. Or you're looking for a wall mounted TV stand. Or even just a big screen TV stand. You can do it all in a white design. It is nice and clean, but more importantly it will match any room that you put it in.
Modern White TV StandI thought I should start with a more modern type of stand. I think the best fit for this particular type of stand is with a modern home. Everything just has to mesh properly in a room for a simple TV stand to look right. I don't think enough people put enough thought into that one little point. They try to find an inexpensive TV stand and that is really all they're looking for. Modern TV stands are actually quite nice. People generally think of some white painted wood that looks sort of cheesy, but you can get really nice looking stands if you know where to get them. I've seen some great looking big white TV stands and small ones too. They just have this character about them that really makes them look sophisticated. I thought I could show you two nice stands that I really like. One of them is very expensive, but it is a really nice white TV stand. The other is cheaper and is still pretty good.
Antique White TV StandI know many of you probably aren't into the modern look and want to see an antique look. This is something that works much better in a older and more traditional home. I think the big benefit you get from going this route is that you get a lot of character out of your stand. It's not something that is just hidden in the room and no one ever notices it. It's something that people go 'oh wow' because they really like the look of it. A noticed the big thing about antique TV stands is that you're going to get the traditional hardware and finish. It's where you have the little front doors on it and the handles will be traditional. The way that they sand down the door will have the shape of something older. Even though a white TV stand cabinet is supposed to look antique, I find that it compliments a modern television on it. A flat screen LCD television looks pretty nice on it and you can get that impression from the two antique TV stands below.
Kids White TV StandI also thought I should mention something for the kids. I know that it might seem sort of odd to think that a kid would need a TV stand, but this is something a little more versatile for them. Kids today really like to play video games and TV stands really haven't evolved to the point where it is friendly to have a video game system hooked up to a TV. You need something that will properly accommodate the system, plus the controllers that extend out from the system. Another type of kids white TV stand that I have a picture of right below is actually one with storage space. They come in a different colored drawers that children can put their toys in or video games in. It's a really nice thing to have in a child's room since it gives them space to put all their stuff, instead of having it lying around.
Cheap White TV StandI thought that the last place I should go on this page is for the cheap white TV stand because I know many of you are going to base your decision on the price of the stand. That is completely understandable because you probably spent a lot of money on your television and it just seems like a waste to throw much more out there onto something as trivial as a stand. Usually when you look at a television stand you're expecting to have to pay a lot. It's something that comes with the territory. They cost several hundred dollars and I'm not really sure why. I know that I've always wondered why I couldn't get them cheaper. But the good news is that I've done a little research and I was able to track down a few that were inexpensive TV stands. You can always go with a used TV stand, though I'm not a big fan of them. The main reason I'm not a fan of used is that you have to buy local and you really can't find anything that really is unique or fits your needs. You sort of go to a yard sale and you have to take whatever they have. So if they have a floating TV stand than that is what you have to go with. They're pretty good prices on them for brand new stands and you probably won't find any similar type of stand for the prices they're listed for.
